Senior Engineer (Proposal Engineering & Business Development)
Job Description:
- Good communication skills and a pro-active approach towards business development activities.
- Familiarity with Solar PV Projects
- Study of tender documents and prepare gist of tender requirements,
- Assistance in Proposal Engineering including estimation of BOQ, Cost estimate
- Technical coordination and interaction with clients, project developers and / or tender issuing authorities during the process of proposal preparation and submission
- Business development activities through constant search cum interaction with the industries to identify potential for Solar PV projects and related business for the company.
- Very good office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; further language skills like Hindi etc. is an advantage.
Your Responsibility:
- You will support the Project Management team, EPC and O&M team in the preparation of documentation. The range of task includes:
- Collection of basic and detailed information about project details from website and with clients
- Coordination with technical and procurement management team about project details
- Prepare cost estimate for tenders
- Preparation of Tender summary and analysis of risk assessment
- Discuss about the Project with Management team for approval
- Preparation of Proposals
- Preparation of documents and submit to clients
- Follow up with clients about the status of the proposal

Senior Engineer - Electrical Design
Job Description:
- Design of DC side electrical engineering related Medium and large-scale Solar Photovoltaic Power plants. Ability to provide cost-optimized design of the arrangement of the PV plant layout.
- Shall be Familiar with Energy yield simulation in PV Syst.
- Shall be able to select the Solar PV Modules types and ratings, PV module installation type. Optimum DC rating of Plant.
- Preparation of DC,AC, Aux SLD (Single Line Diagrams) & the layout design for the 3D CAD tools.
- Preparation of Plant Layout GA drawings, PV Array Layout, DC Cable routine layouts, DC Grouping layout and all other Solar PV plant services layout
- PV plant Earthing Calculation as per IEEE, BS, IS and other related standards: Earthing conductor sizing and earth mat design.
- Lightning risk assessment and lightning calculations for design for Solar PV plant as per IEC and IEEE guidelines.
- String Cable, Power Cable (DC and AC) sizing & calculation; Control & Communication Cable sizing, length Calculations and cable accessories selections.
Skill Set Requirements:
- Candidate shall be preferably from Consultancy / EPC background with exposure to utility-scale solar PV projects.
- The candidate shall be preferred to have Exposure to the on-site DC components erections works and commissioning of the DC side of the Solar plant.
- Knowledge in DC/AC/HV side Engineering Specification and Standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, SEC, IS etc.)
- Knowledge of PV Syst, Sketchup, AutoCAD, MS office is essential, ETAP, Dialux, CYMCAP, WINIGS, SKM tools will be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and stay as per requirement in India and abroad.
- String Cable, Power Cable (DC and AC) sizing & calculation; Control & Communication Cable sizing, length Calculations and cable accessories selections.
- Able to understand and Validate Solar PV inverter. HT Panel & IDT component Power / Control schematics, BOQ and Site accessories.
- Sizing Calculations for the protection Fuse, Connectors, SCB, SPD all DC components and Ability to select the DC Fuse, SCB, String / Central Inverters or PCS and all associated equipment’s for solar PV plant as per IEC, IS, IEEE standards.

PV Design Engineer - Junior
Job Description:
- Independently conduct solar resource assessment and compute energy yields using industry standards simulating software tools.
- Ability to Prepare 3D scenes in PVSYST manually or using PVCAD Export File.
- Able to independently conduct technical feasibility studies of utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Develop initial PV system concept of plant layout which shall essentially include technology assessment, tilt-pitch optimization, DC overload analysis.
- Detailed technical assessment of PV modules and inverters.
- Conduct a technical assessment of PV plant components, electrical scheme, design, long term energy yields, project economics, financial model, EPC and O&M contracts.
- Ability to prepare Bankable Detailed Project Report for end clients.
- Ability to do Light Illumination calculation using Dialux Software.
- Support Procurement and BD team by preparing Specifications and attractive PPT.
Skill Set Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of solar energy technology and overall Projects lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality technical reports within predefined deadlines.
- Familiar with international standards for solar PV systems, and other relevant standards;
- Experienced with solar PV system design, inverters, wiring, grounding, utility interface and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge in the Procurement cycle.
- Hands-on experience in Solar PV yield prediction software’s like PVSyst, PVSol etc.
- Hands-on experience in softwares like AUTOCAD, DIALUX etc
- Competent user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project and Excel packages.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indian solar market and various policy frameworks.
- An understanding of the key technical and commercial aspects of solar projects
- Previous experience working in consultancy and/or project development environment
