Qualifications: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
With an impressive 40 years of experience across both the public and private power sectors, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Executive Director. His career spans a wide range of significant projects, including operational leadership in the 600 MW thermal power plant at Neyveli Lignite Corporation and the Fast Breeder Test Reactor project (50 MW) at Kalpakkam, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
His extensive experience also includes 25 years as Branch Incharge and Executive Director at M.N. Dastur & Company, Consulting Engineers, where he led the power department in Chennai. During this time, he successfully headed teams of engineers for power project consultancy, overseeing the detailed engineering and commissioning of both conventional and renewable energy-based power projects. His work spans projects of all sizes small, medium, and large across India and internationally.
Through his unparalleled leadership and technical expertise, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the direction of power projects, ensuring efficient and successful execution at every stage, from conceptualization to commissioning.
Praveen Kumar PA
Director / CEO
Qualifications: B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation, MIT MBA (General), Lancaster University, UK & ISP in International Entrepreneurship, St. Gallen, Switzerland
With over 12 years of diverse experience, he has become a leading figure in the Solar Energy Industry. Beginning his solar career in 2013, he quickly adapted to the latest technological Innovations in solar power by visiting some of the world’s most advanced solar energy markets in Europe. He translated this global knowledge into practical applications through joint ventures with leading companies from Germany and Austria, driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in the Indian market.
An exceptional communicator and team leader, he excels in management, international networking, and technology transfer. As part of the ACE Renewtech team, he has played a key role in the successful execution of over 240 MW of Solar PV power projects across India, demonstrating his commitment to bringing world-class solutions to the Indian renewable energy sector.
His entrepreneurial journey was further recognized when he was selected as one of the Top 20 Entrepreneurs in India by the German Society for International Cooperation. He represented India at the prestigious Hannover Messe in Germany in April 2015, where he participated in the Solar Energy sector and was part of a delegation led by Shri Narendra Modi, the Honorable Prime Minister of India, for the Make in India campaign. With his deep understanding of both technology and business, he continues to drive ACE Renewtech towards its vision of sustainable energy solutions, bridging international innovation with local expertise.
Karthikeyan S
Director, Projects and O&M
Qualifications: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc. in Solar Technology, TU Berlin, Germany
With over 7 years of focused experience in the Solar Energy Sector, he brings a strong technical foundation and a global perspective to his role as Director of Projects and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) at ACE Renewtech. His career began with hands-on experience at SMA, Germany, where he specialized in project and business development for solar hybrid and off-grid systems.
His expertise extends to project baseline development, monitoring (in terms of cost, resource deployment, time management, and quality compliance), and pre-feasibility assessments. He is adept at securing project funding and financial incentives, while evaluating and integrating the most effective solar technologies to ensure cost-effective, high performance solutions.
Having worked on over 200 MW of utility-scale solar PV projects and solar-diesel hybrid systems, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to manage large scale, complex projects. His international experience spans Germany, East African markets, the Philippines, and Egypt, where he navigated diverse market dynamics and ensured the successful implementation of solar solutions.
An exceptional organizer, he excels in leading projects from concept to execution while managing cross-cultural teams and overcoming market-specific challenges. His strategic mindset, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, enables him to lead projects with efficiency and deliver results that align with both technical and business goals.
